The Sanders Pulling Team has added another trophy to their collection of championship awards. Richard Scott from Palmyra, Ohio driving the “Silver Bullet I” Mack is the 2015 Big Rigs
Series Champion. The Mack Super Liner with 998 cubic inches of Mack V-8 power took the top spot after Saturday night’s event at the Bloomsburg Fair in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. The four truck pulling team is owned by Fred Sanders of Ravenna, Ohio and Sanders Excavating.
Scott started the season in excellent form and by the midpoint of the 2015 tour his “Silver Bullet I” had amassed a very sizeable point lead. But the big truck ran into some issues as the season wore on and team mate Justin Fredo started to gain with his “Cat Scratch Fever”. All the while lurking in the pack was the eventual second place finisher for 2015 – Jerry Ray Hairhoger with “Senseless”. The complete point race results are as follows:
|Silver Bullet I **||Richard Scott||518|
|Senseless||Jerry Ray Hairhoger||506|
|Cat Scratch Fever**||Justin Fredo||502 (tie)|
|A Rood Awaking Revisited**||Mike Sweet||502 (tie)|
|Jerry Atricks||Jerry Hairhoger, Sr.||486|
|Black Sheep||Brenda Shanklin||266|
|Some Assembly Required||Dan Adams||236|
|Sneeki Pete||Joe Giulitto||166|
|Silver Bullet II **||Fred Sanders||82|
