LADY BUTTERFLY
Jan 20 2009

LADY BUTTERFLY is owned by John A. Mann Trucking of East Canton, Ohio. Powered by a V-12 Detroit Diesel with four turbo-chargers, this awesome Kenworth has been one of the most consistent trucks in the Big Rigs Pulling Series of the past five years.
The LADY BUTTERFLY was completely refurbished for the 2006 season with some new lights and a new winning attitude. The truck finished the 2007 Big Rigs Series in fourth place and backed that up with another strong 4th place finish in the points in 2008.
The truck was number three in the United States in 2000 and finished number two in the nation in 1999. The LADY BUTTERFLY grabbed a sixth place finish at the Marshall-Putnam County Fair in Henry, Illinois in July of last year while appearing on the ESPN Television network. And John powered the truck to a solid 4th place at the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania FINALS at the end of September of 2009.
In July of 2008, John and Bonnie traveled to Dungannon, Ontario, Canada to participate in a series of semi truck events.
This Big Rig had over one million miles on the odometer when it was converted to run with the Big Rigs. It is known far and wide across the United States and is easily recognized because of the bright yellow color and the flashing butterfly on the grill. www.ladybutterflypullingteam.com
John competes on the NTPA circuit with the Super Semis and with the Big Rigs Pulling Series during the summer months and has pulled at more events in 2008 than any other truck in the nation
