KILLER BEE

KILLER BEE did not compete in the 2007 season and only came to the track to run with the 'hot stock' semis in 2008. The owner, Damian Minteer, has recently been married and he and his wife a busy building a new house in the Richmond, Virginia area. That will keep the KILLER BEE away from the Big Rigs Series this summer.
One of the newest trucks is also one of the oldest trucks in the Big Rigs Pulling Series. KILLER BEE is owned by Damian Minteer from Beaverdam, Virginia. Minteer also has a residence in the Ellwood City area of Beaver County where the truck is normally housed. Damian joined the Super Stock Semis Series in the middle of 2005 and quickly became hooked on the sport of semi truck pulling.
KILLER BEE did run in a number of exhibition venues with the Big Rigs in 2005 and the antique Mack 'B Model' was quite popular with the fans even though it was built in 1965 before many of the fans were even born. Damian is originally from New Castle in Lawrence County in western Pennsylvania and has ties to that area. The Mack B-83 is powered by a 444 Cummins engine.
Minteer has indicated that the KILLER BEE will return to the 'hot stock' ranks for the future. According to Minteer the truck just does not have the horsepower to run with the Big Rigs.
