FREIGHT ROD

Dale Mitchell from Mount Gilead, Ohio is the owner and driver of the FREIGHT ROD modified semi truck.  This the only Freightliner currently running with the Big Rigs Series.  The FREIGHT ROD also participated with the Ohio State Tractor Pullers in 2008 which caused the truck to miss some pulls with the Big Rigs.  It is anticipated that Dale Mitchell will compete at more events next season with the Big Rigs Pulling Season.
 
FREIGHT ROD is powered by a Cummins engine with one turbo-charger.  Engine work on the truck is done at Rogers Repair in South Zanesville, Ohio by the Rogers Team that competes with 'Unleashed'.  The FREIGHT ROD showed some great improvement by grabbing a top five finish at Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania in late September at the Big Rigs "Finals".
 
The Mitchell Team also campaigns a truck named 'ReHab' which is driven by Bill Rinehart.
